Created  in memory of Lieutenant  David Fontana, my cousin that I never had the chance to know.  I was a young new artist exploring  NYC in the 1990's and my grandmother kept telling me to go to Park Slope and say hi.  

Family was the most important thing to her.  I kept putting it off.

He died in the World Trade Center, South Tower  saving others on 9/11.  The link above takes you to Project Mosaic, a non profit that was created by his wife Marion to promote tolerance and combat hatred.
